1 Month to Go!!!

Only 1 month to go before the East Midlands EXPO 2009 - Greening the Economy, and things are starting to look busy. Exhibitors - the exhibitor space is now nearly fully booked up. The conference and workshop timetable for EXPO 2009 is starting to fill up with something suitable for all. The conferences and workshops that have so far been confirmed include:
  • The East Midlands Green Infrastructure Network's 2nd Annual Conference
  • An Envirowise workshop - 'The best things in life are free, the best things in business are resource efficient'.
  • "Preparing for the Carbon Reduction Commitment" - host by the Local Government Information Unit
  • "Learn to Trade Carbon" - also from the Local Government Information Unit

1st Side Event Booked!!!!!

The first side event for EXPO 2009 - Greening the Economy has now been booked. East Midlands NTI Ltd will be holding an event entitled 'Innovation in Sustainable Development'. This will include exhibition stands, conference events, demonstration stands, and workshops. Although most of the detail is still to be confirmed, this is an excellent start to the side events list. Why not book as an Exhibitor?

Registration is now open for EXPO 2009 exhibitors, so if you or your organisation would like to sign up to exhibit then please follow these 3 easy steps.

1. Follow this link - 'Click Here'

2. Download and fill in the exhibitor booking form

3. Return it to the East Midlands Regional Assembly (instructions on the form)

Remember: There are a limited number of places, and if you book early then there is an 'early bird' discount to be had!!!

EXPO 2009 - Greening the Economy

The theme for EXPO 2009 has been decided upon. EXPO 2009 - Greening the Economy will focus on several areas concerned with revitalising our economy in a sustainable way. These sub-themes include, amongst others, issues around:
